題目：Knots, Graphs and Lattices
概要：
In a 2011 breakthrough, Greene used graph theory techniques to prove that a certain geometric invariant is complete mutation invariant of alternating knots. After introducing the necessary techniques from graph theory, we generalise Greene's construction to knots on surfaces, show that the resulting mutation invariant is well-defined but not complete, and propose a stronger invariant. I will briefly explain the computational methods used - which are interesting in their own right - and end with a list of open questions.
